"The success of 'Last Night' has truly been a blessing," says Diddy. "And you know I had to do a remix." After several years of putting their artist/producer relationship on ice, Diddy and the sexy queen of rap have reunited to try and make music history once again. "It feels great to be working with Lil' Kim again after all these years," mused Didds.
"We've always had amazing chemistry together," says Kim. "It was a great feeling to pick back up where we left off years ago and do it again." The 'Last Night' remix also marks the diminutive rapper's return to music following her term in a Philadelphia nick, from which she was released in July 2005.Never one to stop a good thing, Diddy reached out to several other big names to create additional remixes; The Game, Busta, Rich Boy, Noreaga, and Bad Boy South/Block Enterprises Yung Joc all lending their personal flair to the record. "I appreciate all of the people who have constantly supported the album and also appeared on the remixes," says Diddy "and a special 'thank you' to Keyshia Cole for blessing this track with her beautiful vocals."
Lil' Kim has been very busy over the past year working on a book, ('Price of Loyalty') and preparing for the launch of her clothing line, '24-7-Star'; as well as helping those in need through on-going programs via her non-profit organization, Lil' Kim Cares. She's a good girl really...
