After working and living in America where he mastered his skills and landed a joint venture deal with Universal Records UK and the legendary Motown Records in the States, 23 year-old Londoner Taio Cruz is ready to step out on his own. Thanks to an influential US r&b DJ Jeronimo, who heard Taio and began hammering his music on his nightly show. This alerted the interest of Motown in the US. It wasn’t until they tried to secure the deal with some urgency that Motown realised their sister label in the UK were also trying to sign Taio. A joint venture deal was quickly agreed and the record is set for a simultaneous release in the US and UK. Prepare to hear it a lot more in the coming months.
